From a bachelor degree in social work to becoming one of Sweden's leading experts in cybersecurity, Carolin Runnquist shares her career journey with us in this exciting podcast episode.
She most recently comes from a position as Director of Cyber Security at PwC and now works at Swedbank, one of the largest banks in Sweden, as Chief Product Owner Digital Banking Corporate. Carolin truly believes that it is possible to get more women working in the IT industry if we challenge the existing structures and set clear goals for that. At PwC she managed to make a structural change in her team when she transformed a team of 30 employees being only 1 woman to 40 employees and 8 women.
Carolin has been named IT Woman of the Year by Tieto (2018) and appointed one of Sweden's 101 Super talents by Veckans Affärer (2018), one of the most known Swedish financial magazine. Besides all of that, she even found time to write a book - called Leadership in Crisis - which will be released yet this year (Liber 2019). She is for sure a true role model, leader and inspiration in the area!
