Welcome to a very special Classics mix that explores the dancefloors throughout time that defined an era. In this mix we celebrate Northern Soul and the importance of Wigan Casino that was the foundation to the music scene we see today.

With me oriiginally being from Blackpool, the home of Northern Soul there was Blackpool Mecca and it's fair to say I've Soul coursing through my veins. My absolute hero being Colin Curtis, the Blackpool Mecca resident, who laid the foundation to the music I play today. Blackpool Mecca alongside The Twisted Wheel in Manchester and of course Wigan Casino, were the trinity of Northern Soul Clubs in the North West back throughout the 60's and beyond.

This is a mix of some of the finest tracks played throughout the era with an emphasis on the infamous Wigan Casino.
