Wild Life Unschooling

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

This time, I wasn't the host, but the guest at Dr. Fernando Morales' podcast: Have you ever questioned whether conventional education truly prepares children for life? In this episode, Alex shares her radical journey from traditional classrooms in Germany to a life of freedom, self-discovery, and jungle experiences. Her story will leave you questioning what it really means to raise a generation capable of thinking for themselves and exploring beyond the limits of the school and social system.

From her decision to unschool her child amidst an oppressive system, to how Bitcoin and psychedelics helped her find her authentic purpose, Alex reveals the keys to living with purpose and freedom in an increasingly uncertain world. Discover the frameworks that guided her path, how she faced the fear of being seen as a criminal for fighting for her family's autonomy, and how exploration in the jungle taught her lessons no classroom could offer.

I would summarize this episode like this: 2 former german teachers discuss one of the strictest school systems in the world. Chris from Staatenlos (Denationalize.me), provides consulting and resources on flag theory, individualized educational plans and much more to help families legally avoid compulsory schooling systems. Nice!

The Staatenlos team offers expert guidance on global mobility, tax optimization, and international lifestyle through consultations, resources, and a community focused on self-determination and the Perpetual Traveler philosophy. Libertarial lifestyle one stop shop ;)

Tom Arnold, a cybersecurity expert, is highlighting a critical gap in education: cybersafety for kids! We all know, that most schools fail to educate kids on the very important things, for example cyber security. With the latest discussions about all the perverts on Roblox, the question is really: is there a way to keep kids safe in the online environment, do we have to take away their independence and fun?

I explore this realm with Tom, who wrote a kid’s book on cybersecurity – „The Digital Detective: https://a.co/d/7ddvRfC“ - after his son was approached by a creep on Roblox. Tom is a lecturer at San Jose State and UNLV, co-founder of a company acquired by NCC Group, and Operations Manager at Cloud 10 Studios, and he shares his wisdom about how to empower kids to handle online threats. We talk about red flags, why it’s difficult to create a profile of the average predator online, and so much more.

Enjoy <3
