Welcome to the third episode of Wild Magic Harmony, Season 2: All Things Intuition!  I’m your Bee Priestess host Melissa Belliard, and I’m thrilled to be circling up with you to create and share sacred space and everything Divine Feminine.  In this episode, I have the pleasure of discussing Intuition with circle sister and artist Bonnie Ashmore.  She shares how it especially informs her art.  We card pull and do a reading on this month’s theme from the Modern Witch Deck by Lisa Sterle, Liminal 11.

Bonnie Ashmore bio:  Bonnie Ashmore is a painter and printmaker.  She considers her work as meditations on space; seen and unseen.  Grids, knots, molecular diagrams, and sacred geometry are some of the motifs used to chart a course through this visual terrain; connecting one moment to another, and offering a pathway between the physical and spiritual realms.  Bonnie is interested in the interplay of overlapping shapes, color and light.  She enjoys working with layered color, glazes, and metallics that literally reflect light as well as seem to be the source of light itself.  For Bonnie, art making is a spiritual practice and a healing modality.

Bonnie is part of the Wild, Magic Sisterhood, an assistant professor of Art and a member of Gallery 263 in Cambridge, MA.  She has shown her work in many groups and solo shows, including a collaboration with the Peabody Essex Museum in 2017.  Her work can be viewed online at www.bonnieashmore.com
