Seed sisters is a window into a journey I shared with my childhood best friends a few months back. Our original mission was to dehaunt my childhood home. But, rather, we found that the home dehaunted us…
Together (in the jacuzzi of my parents old room), we philosophize and explore the sacred wounds of the African woman, also referred to as Earth Mama, or the Original Woman. We dove into controversial questions like whether or not every person is technically an indigenous person…or not, what “the white man” represents though is not always or exclusively, and how to stay natural.
Along the way, there is a song in this episode that came to me when I went into the basement of the house (just in case) with a stick of sage to disperse any stuck dense energy there, whether from my family or from before. I learned then, that joy and peace is a strong antidote to any dark energy.
Our journey ends with a reading of the work of great wise man and Sufi poet, Hafiz…a hero of mine.
This, and all that I can, I gift to you dear wildlings. Please excuse my silence. It has been hard to muster the courage and direction to go forward. But, here I am. May it be for the benefit of all beings everywhere.
With love,
E
