Great fighter romance... perfect mix of bad boy and escaping girl... sex was hot and drama was great and ansty!

crazy & dysfunctional...just okay not great!

Brianna Bri Martin grew up with an abusive father and, when things go too far one night, she packed her things and ran away from home. She lived on the streets for some time, until she met Jaxon Young, who helps her get her life together and becomes her good friends. They live together and work together at the same bar. I really like Bri, even if she can be a complete bitch sometimes - and she knows it! Shes also sarcastic and reckless yet also passionate and protective of whats hers. Bri is a survivor, doesn't do relationships, and doesn't trust anyone but Jax. Then she meets Luke, who intrigues her but also scares her because hes a boxer. Just like dear old dad!Luke is a underground fighter, complete alpha package, rough around the edges, broody, and intense. They have a intensely passionate yet extremely dysfunctional relationship. This wasn't your flowery type of romance at all. These two are destructive, and I felt no connection to either one of them. Just to give warning that are somedarker parts where Bri is a victim of physical abuse more than once. Like I said ....the book was okay just not great.
