Episode 4: Same Train, Different View
What if the hardest moments of your day aren't the problem, and the problem is just the window you're looking out of? In this episode of Wild Soul Alchemy, a mindset and personal growth podcast for moms, Ginger shares the perspective shift theory that stuck with her when she started changing her mindset 10 years ago, and that she still uses every time life feels like it's happening to her. Not the "good vibes only, just be positive" version, but the real one, where the tunnels are dark, the tracks get bumpy, and you still get to choose where you look.
Ginger opens with a story from a moms' co-working session about a toddler, a diaper and a wall, and how one little shift turned a stressful parenting memory into a giggling fest. If you've been riding through life feeling stuck, bitter, burned out, or running on stress and survival mode, this episode is for you.
What we cover:
Same wall, two different mornings: How the same messy parenting moment can stress you out and set the tone for your whole day, or become a story you laugh about five years later. A real look at how changing your perspective changes your stress, your mood and your memories.
The train theory: We're all on the same train, heading to the same final destination. We can't control the train, where it's going, or even the people riding with us. What we can control is which side of the train we sit on, and where we put our focus.
The miserable view and the amazing view: One side looks out at rocky cliffs, barren land, dark tunnels and bad weather. The other side looks out at the ocean, the sunshine and all the color. Both sides go through the same tunnels. Only one enjoys the ride.
Looking at what's missing: How Ginger had everything she needed 10 years ago and still felt empty, because she was looking out the window at everything that was missing, and what changed when she started finding joy in what was already there.
Accepting the route: Why fighting the route is fucking exhausting, why acceptance isn't giving up, and why you're allowed to feel the long, dark tunnels without building a house in them. Emotional resilience without toxic positivity.
Crossing the aisle: Why changing seats can feel awkward (especially when the train stops short right as you stand up), why it's okay if it irritates people, and why you can keep moving like Goldilocks until you find the seat that fits. Nothing is permanent unless you make it that way.
Your kids are watching: Ginger didn't want her kids sitting next to her looking out the same miserable window, thinking their seat was permanent. So she got up and moved, and showed them a different way to ride.
Start doing this: Start catching yourself on the miserable view side. You'll feel it: things get heavy, you get bitter, and you slip back into survival mode. Every time you catch it, consciously get up and move to the other seat. Find something out the other window, like your kid's laugh, the light through the kitchen window, or the sunrise while you're doing dishes. Keep doing it until looking for the view is just how you ride.
This episode is especially relevant for moms dealing with mom burnout, stress and survival mode, anyone who feels like life is happening to them instead of for them, and anyone who wants to practice mindfulness, find more joy in everyday motherhood, and show their kids that happiness is something you can choose to look for.

Episode 3: One Foot in Front of the Other
What do you do when you already know what you want, but it's so big you're frozen at the bottom? In this episode of Wild Soul Alchemy, a mindset and personal growth podcast for moms, we're talking about starting before you're ready, overcoming fear, and taking action on your big dreams. Not the "just believe in yourself" version, but the real one, where you don't have the money, the tools, the followers, or the whole plan, and you start anyway.
Ginger has guided hikes through the Appalachian Mountains and the Great Smoky Mountains for over 10 years, and she brings that trail experience into this one. She opens with a full moon night hike where first-time hikers wanted to turn back halfway. They kept going, made it to the overlook, and ended up staying four hours instead of one. She also shares the night she got lost on one of her very first hikes, with nothing but a dim phone flashlight, and how she found her way back in the moment.
If you've been waiting until you have everything figured out before taking the first step, you keep overplanning because you're scared, or self doubt has you stuck at the trailhead, this episode is for you.
What we cover:
This podcast is my mountain: Why Ginger waited three years to start her podcast, what she thought she needed first, and what it actually looks like right now: a kitchen table, a microphone, free tools and a lot of Googling. A real look at building something of your own one step at a time.
You don't have to see the top: Why one foot in front of the other is the whole secret to reaching big goals, and what she reminds people on the trail when they want to quit. Turning around takes just as many steps as going forward.
Figuring it out on the trail: Why plans are just make-believe situations, why most things that go wrong are things you never could have planned for, and how building self trust and resilience helps you find your footing in the moment.
Pick a smaller mountain: What to do if you're not sure the big thing is really yours yet, and how smaller climbs build your confidence for the big one.
Your kids are watching: They see you standing at the bottom of your mountain. The best gift you can give them, and the best way to raise confident kids, is to be a mom who keeps climbing, no matter how scared she is.
Start doing this: Pick your mountain and forget the top. Write down just the next step you can see, so small it's almost silly, and take it. Then do it again with the next one. Make it how you move toward anything big.
This episode is especially relevant for moms with a big dream and no clear path, anyone who's been "about to start" for years, overthinkers who plan for every possible outcome, and anyone learning to trust themselves to figure it out as they go.

Episode 2: What If It Actually Fucking Works?
What would happen if you stopped asking "what if it fails" and started asking "what if it actually f*^$ing works?" In this episode of Wild Soul Alchemy, a mindset and personal growth podcast for moms, Ginger digs into the what if spiral, the overthinking and fear of failure that keep so many of us stuck. Not the "be brave and follow your dreams" version, but the real one, where we talk about the thing for years, research it at midnight, and never actually do it.
Ginger opens with the story of a phone call, a Facebook post, and a friend who almost gave up on the creative work she loves most. If you've got an idea you've been sitting on, a dream you keep bringing up "someday," limiting beliefs that talk you out of everything, or a habit of planning for every way something could go wrong, this episode is for you.
What we cover:
The what if spiral: Why we what if the hell out of every idea, how overthinking and negative thought patterns keep us frozen, and why we never give the good what ifs any airtime.
Fear as a spotlight: Why fear isn't a stop sign, what it's actually pointing to, and how a simple perspective shift can turn fear into the first step toward taking action.
You just fucked around and found out: Why trying something that flops still counts as moving forward, and how every experience gives you data to make better decisions.
Learning your gut's yes and no: How Ginger learned to read her body's signals and trust her intuition before making decisions, including her sacral authority in human design, and a simple journaling practice to start building your own self trust and discernment.
Start doing this: Start catching yourself every time a scary or negative what if pops up. Write it down, and right next to it, write the other version: What if it actually fucking works? What if I love it? What if this is the thing that changes my life? You don't have to believe it yet. Just give it the same airtime. And start noticing where you feel things in your body before and after you try something new, and write that down too. Keep doing it until trusting yourself becomes a habit.
This episode is especially relevant for moms who overthink every decision, anyone working on overcoming fear and self doubt, anyone who's been "about to start" something for years, and anyone learning to trust their intuition again.

Episode 1: Why This Show Exists
What does it actually look like when the "perfect" life on paper is the one you want to escape? In this first episode of Wild Soul Alchemy, a personal growth and motherhood podcast for moms who are questioning everything, host and unapologetic life coach Ginger talks about the grind and wait life. Not the cute "mom life is chaos" version, but the real one, where you're counting down to Friday, waiting for PTO, battling mom burnout, and hoping life slows down someday so you can finally enjoy it.
Ginger shares how she ended up living the life she was told to want, from the "practical" career path to the big house and the picture-perfect family, and what finally made her stop. If you've ever looked around at everyone signing up for the same draining routine and wondered why, felt pressure from societal expectations, or quietly felt empty in a life that looks good from the outside, this episode is for you.
What we cover:
The life that looked right: How Ginger followed every step she was "supposed" to, from school to career to motherhood, and why it still didn't fit. A real look at burnout, people pleasing, and the social conditioning that tells us how a good life is supposed to look.
The turning point: The mindset shift that changed the direction of her life, and how she started questioning the rules she never actually agreed to.
Letting go of the plan: Why she doesn't plan much anymore, what she learned about expectations and disappointment, and how shedding old versions of herself became part of her self discovery.
What this show is (and isn't): No blueprints, no telling you how to live. Just honest conversations, perspective shifts, real stories, and the phrase you'll hear over and over: only one way to find out.
This episode is especially relevant for moms dealing with burnout from the weekly grind, cycle breakers raising their kids differently, deep feelers and overthinkers, and anyone quietly questioning how we're told life is supposed to look and wanting to start living on their own terms.
