Welcome back, Witches! The Wild Women are with you today with a TRIGGER WARNING.
You see, the Wild Women are never afraid to tackle controversial topics. We set out on this podcast journey to be the girlfriends you may not have, or to inspire conversations with your girlfriends. This week, we talk about domestic violence.
We dive into statistics on domestic violence, how it presents, and the warning signs. We give you resources (including a PHENOMENAL piece of advice from Nikole that Alex and Suzanne didn't know), statistics, and information to use when confronted with DV.
The Wild Women also take the opportunity to touch on the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. As much as we love that DV issues are being brought to the forefront of people's minds because of the Gabby Petito case, we also felt the need to address the significant issue regarding MMIWG.
Please listen to this episode and educate yourself on how you can help people in DV situations and be an advocate for all.
Also, if you have found yourself in a DV situation or know someone who is, please refer to the resources below for help.
We love you all. Stay safe!
