My guest this week is Dan Mathews he's the host of The Nomadic Outdoorsman and Western Rookie podcast. We talk about planning your first hunt out west and what to expect. We even talk a little turkey with a little bit of nothern whitetail action as well. Always a good time when talking about the outdoors !

I have my first experience of man's ability to master flight. I'm in California on a business trip and what day it was to get there!!!

This week's guest is Joe Barlett. He is a freelance photographer who films hunts from Alaska to Africa. This man has been all over the world in pursuit of wild game. We also talk about hunting out west from an out of state hunters perspective. He also gives quite a few pointers that will help you make your decision on where to go and what to do on your first western or out of country hunt.

This week's guest is William Phillips. Who takes part in the ancient tradition of falconry. He uses a dog and raptor to hunt small game. We get into quite a few topics ranging from fly fishing to DIY elk hunts. He also talks about a crazy elk hunting story that could of turned into a hunters worst nightmare.

My guest this week is Zach Phillips. He's a avid turkey hunter and outdoor camera man. Who produces his own hunting show Country Outdoors on the Outdoor-channel. He's worked with influential people in the outdoor and music industry. We cramed a range of topics in this podcast but it was a fun one non the less. My guest this week is Jason Samkowiak who hails from the great state of Michigan , but now finds himself chasing hogs and whitetail in Georgia. He host his own podcast Traditional bow hunting & wilderness podcast for well over a decade now with a YouTube channel. It was great talking to Jason I had a blast!

My guest this week is Joshua Phillips from the state of Virginia. He hunts in areas that you don't typical get to hunt for whitetail. We also talk about DIY Colorado elk hunts and all that intales. Even learned about a thing or two about Sika deer and they may have made it onto my future kill list. Either way it's always fun having good conversation about the outdoors.

This episode I go back and pretty much review what I did wrong on my last hunt. I shot a buck that would of been biggest whitetail to date on public land. These days are going to happen just half to take the lick and move on. Also never forget the lessons learned!
