Lopa van der Mersch (Founder and CEO of Rasa) joins Natalie for a conversation around living your values in a profit-focused world. Whether she’s pushing the envelope of earth-friendly compostable packaging, building a forward-thinking sustainable supply chain, or re-imagining a new level of customer care, Lopa is always working to be a socially conscious entrepreneur. Her effort paid dividends: her adaptogenic coffee alternative company, Rasa, has seen triple-digit growth every year since their launch. Within this episode you will be provided with value, insights and education that can help you to embody and practice consciously sustainable practices within your personal and professional life by someone who is already doing the thing!
QUOTES FROM THIS EPISODE:
We respond to our bodies in many ways that we do the earth, where we are extracting more resources that is sustainable and not putting enough back in.
Integrity is about energy. Living out of integrity to our values is a tremendous energy leak.
If you're being unsustainable to yourself your business is going to come out being unsustainable in some shape or form.
Remember to take breaks from the game and be really attentive to stewarding your energy. When you are more connected to source you will have that right motive much more naturally in terms of the decisions you make in being a sustainable business.
LEARN MORE ABOUT LOPA AND HER WORK:
Lopa van der Mersch is many things: Serial entrepreneur. Mother of two. Sustainability advocate. TEDx speaker. Recovering cult member. Three years ago, she added a new chapter: Founder and CEO of Rasa, the adaptogenic coffee alternatives revolutionizing people’s relationship to energy. 2015 was what Lopa now calls “her own personal 2020” — she left a cult, had emergency surgery while pregnant, lost a family member, and had a traumatic birth. Beaten down and exhausted, she needed a source of energy that could sustain her without burnout, crashes, or jitters. What she needed didn’t exist, so she worked with a clinical herbalist and Rasa was born: adaptogen-rich blends that nourish & energize while providing enough rich, roasty flavor to convert even the most devoted coffee fanatic. What started with a mom elbow-deep in herbs in her kitchen is now a movement, with triple-digit YoY growth and over 100K customers worldwide.

She then discusses the different phases of business development and how to honor your own evolution as a business owner or innovator. WHAT WE TALK ABOUT:
The steps to starting a business
The 4 phases of business development
How to pivot your business sustainably
GREAT QUOTES FROM THE EPISODE:
Your business model is the structure of your organization and your business model determines what you do within that structure. Your business model supports you in establishing your systems, strategies and processes. Without a model, it is difficult to establish a plan. Without a plan, it is difficult to establish systems and strategies.
If we aren't growing with intention, it is not only unsustainable for us but it also leaves us open to causing harm and making unethical business decisions. Growing with intention allows us to feel good about our business choices while also allowing us to do good for people and the planet.
Other people's businesses are not our business! Stay in your lane, honor your process, go with the rhythms and flows of your own business, and don't think you're doing things better or worse just because you grow slower or quicker than those around you.

Within this episode Natalie is joined with Dr. Sarah Coxon, where they discuss their journeys with taking a new paradigm, conscious approach to business. Together, we talk about the new paradigm of business, and why it's important that we question current narratives around business success. We also talk about business as a vehicle for individual, social and ecological change. This episode will hopefully help you to cultivate your own unique form of sacred activism that will allow you to leave a true legacy that goes beyond material pursuits. Dr. Sarah Coxon is an archaeologist turned yoga teacher, sacred activist, author and business mentor for magical feminine-essence beings. She helps people to step into their priestesshood and unleash their unique gifts, to unlock deep contribution and potent prosperity. Sarah is paving the way for others to create and run truly impactful, ethical and regenerative businesses.
WHAT WE TALK ABOUT:
-How to trust yourself as someone who doesn't feel aligned to fit into the systems that are presented to us and ways to rework the system in a way that is in the best interest of people and the planet.
-Coming to terms with the reality of the world we have inherited and how to tackle unlearning, facing your shadow, and facing tough subjects in a way that allows you to feel empowered to create change in your own authentic way
-Recognizing our responsibility as service providers to practice social leadership in a transparent way that holds us accountable to practicing sacred activism.
-Redefining success and prosperity to no longer be attached to status, accumulation or materialism.
-How to begin taking small steps to contribute to the areas of systemic change you want to see unfold and ways to begin practicing sacred activism in your own way.
-How to stay grounded in what we are here to do and what we believe in by protecting our energy and practicing boundaries.
QUOTES FROM THE EPISODE:
Prosperity is a way of being that allows us to live our mission and share our gifts with the world. It allows us to move beyond the limitations that we have placed on expression and what we are here to bring.
Every single person deserves to have their needs met, deserves to be resourced and deserves to feel like they are thriving. It is only when we are thriving and being prosperous that we are able to share more and give back.
If everyone did a little bit, a lot would get done. Start with what matters most to you. You don't have to be aware of every single systemic problem. Lots of tiny humans making tiny decisions makes big change. You don't have to be perfect. You cannot be pure in an impure system.

Join a discussion with Natalie Brite and Imani Quinn as we discuss quantum healing and how it can help us to activate a life of purpose. Imani Quinn is a Quantum Oracle, Author, Artist, Speaker who comes from a lineage of intuitive women, working in mediumship, dream work and divination. More recently in the past 3 years, Imani has worked with a quantum shamanic healer and has expanded their practices into the world of quantum healing and quantum mechanics. Within this episode, we discuss how quantum can expand others through frequency work for self-healing and manifestation towards a life of purpose. Quantum has expanded Imani as a healer, allowing her to tap into clients dreams and heal them in other dimensions, as well as helped her to bring in a book deal and other career goals. Quantum is truly powerful and we are excited that this episode will support us in helping to make Quantum accessible for others.
WHAT WE TALK ABOUT:
—What is quantum healing and how quantum mechanics can help us to create our desired reality by tapping into our desires in the present moment
—Frequency work and how it shows up in a way that can help us heal the mind and spirit while also aligning ourselves to our purpose
—How quantum already shows up in our lives and ways to begin a dream practice
—How to develop self awareness and compassion for ourselves and others with shadow work
—How to move through resistance and challenges with more ease
—How to court your desires
GREAT QUOTES FROM THE EPISODE:
"Shadow work is the way to the light."
"We have a lot of limited beliefs that are stored in our subconscious in the back of our energy field and a lot of those are from the matrix that told us how things need to be done and what is possible. They can keep us limited from doing things that we want us to do. Quantum allows us to play big. "
"We are in an expansive reality where we get to let in what we want, but we have to court our success. Before you're asking for something to come in or shift, what does it look like to have it? Its all about what frequency you're pulling in. So when you know you want to do something, how do you pull in that frequency and identifying what is limiting within myself that is causing me to be unable to grasp that."

WHATS IN TODAYS EPISODE:
In this episode, Rae Embrey joins Natalie Brite as they discuss the transformational power of energy healing and how it can support us in thriving in business and beyond. Rae began as an animal communicator, working heavily with the energetics of animals that eventually led her to also supporting people with her energy healing gifts. Rae helps humans with soul alignment, guiding individuals to process their energy and heal their core wounds so to reveal their souls purpose. In this episode, Natalie and Rae discuss Rae's unique approach to business energetics and energy healing, and how her work was informed by noticing a common need in people to gain healing in the realms of fear, people pleasing, toxic productivity, guilt and shame, lack of boundaries, self worth and self esteem.
WHAT WE TALK ABOUT:
POWERFUL QUOTES FROM THE EPISODE:
"Every emotion that we have has an energy behind it and its either going to fuel us or block us. Many people get stuck and paralyzed in the fear of these perceptions and the ideas of what they feel is expected and that fear creates strong blockages from us being able to take leaps into where we are being asked to go forward in. When you learn to work with those fears and those emotions and not shove them away and feel shame about them, we learn how to navigate them."
"As entrepreneurs, we have to take the time to slow down and process more than almost anyone else because we are holding energetic space with everybody we connect with and they are depending on us to be grounded and stable. We have to have the awareness of what we are personally going through in order to show up and hold a solid container for other people."
