Pay To Play - Joining a Motorcycle Club is this weeks topic. Many guy want to join a motorcycle club but one thing they leave out of the equation is the cost associated. There's monthly dues, events, rides, runs, drink cards, gear, support gear, etc that is involved with a Motorcycle Club. Some guys can barely make their bike payment. This week we are going over the SERGEANT AT ARMS Motorcycle Club Duties and Responsibilities. The Sergeant At Arms is a essential part of the MC. He is responsible for the safety and security of the club, as well as the protection and defense of its members and prospects. He is responsible for securing any patches or colors from any member who retires, resigns, or is expelled. He can appoint members to help him get the colors back. He keeps Order during meetings and makes sure it runs by Roberts Rule of Order. When going to an event he plans every little thing about the trip from routes, arrival times, meeting spots if split, and when to leave. This weeks Topic is Being a Motorcycle Club Brother Isn't Always Easy. When we have folks putting themselves above the club and not understanding that we all have different personalities it makes being a brother a bit difficult. A 1% MC is the deepest bond you’ll ever find and it’s because of everyone’s ability to realize they’re serving something far greater than themselves and that their little petty wants and needs no longer matter.
