Australian premiers and chief ministers have endorsed age limits for social media, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announcing the cut off age will be 16.

However, the government has released little details as to what sites will be subject to an age limit, how it will be policed and which technology will be used for verification. 

Luke Grant chats with leading child psychologist Clare Rowe to get her views on whether the policy will be effective and how parents can help their children wean off social media and comply with the laws.
