Every sermon has its own challenges. Big or small, knowing about some of the challenges that come from sermon prep could be very helpful in your efficiency in getting God's Word to the hearts of His people. Here are some of the external challenges and a few blessings that were showered upon me during the preparation and after the delivery of this joyous message.

Students and adults alike have a problem keeping their faith fresh. None of us want our faith to become just a religion. This episode briefly discusses one way to keep your heart charged for Christ. This is a Christmas message preached during Wednesday night student ministry. The point of Christmas is the birth, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. In this message, you will hear some examples of hypocrisy embedded in the Americanised Christmas season and be challenged to hold to God's commands over man's traditions. My girls and I love to talk about God. Even at bedtime, we are bound to have a conversation about our indescribable God. Your children are never too young to start learning about God and His character. Teach them in your own way about Jesus and His excellent plan for their lives. Maybe start with a book. Maybe start with a podast. Will you preach?!!

Allow me to tell you my heart behind the structure of this sermon and the welcomed challenges that I thought and prayed through while writing it. And we can't forget the blessings that God graciously showers down on us in our obedience to Him.

We have a duty to make disciples no matter what life throws at us and to remember to fan the flames of our faith.
