Promotion is still in Carlow's hands despite today's 1-19 to 1-14 defeat to Longford at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.

Up next for Joe Murphy's side are home games against London on Saturday March 15th at 6 pm and then Leitrim at 1 pm on Sunday March 22nd. A win in either game is enough to earn a place in division 3 as well as a Croke Park showpiece.  

The Carlow ladies winning streak continued beating Longford 4-16 to 3 points.
