When she is not helping boards and global companies drive their innovation and strategic agendas to craft more beautiful experiences for their users, Mafalda paints the world in Japanese ink (sumi) and creates her own objects of beauty.
Here are some of the things we talk about in this episode of the podcast:
1. Knowing your vision, and the core value leading Mafalda's personal journey – creativity
2. Learning as a lifelong habit, and how winning that “big goal” once boosts your confidence
for attempting to win, time and again
3. Evolving priorities at company board level, and some of the challenges ahead
4. How the principles of Japanese ink painting practice are relevant in a business context, and
as a board member
5. Mafalda's lifelong connection to art, and how it led her to Japan

Ben is an old colleague of mine and we went to the same business school. We share a lot in common, especially deep interest in how people operate at their best.
His podcast “Superpower of confidence” has already had some awesome guests speaking about the intricacies of gaining and sustaining confidence and the potential pitfalls and challenges that come along with it.
Ben and I had a great conversation over a glass of wine once our kids were asleep! He also shares with me a very personal challenge that he himself was faced with. I am concerned that this may trigger some people. Therefore, should you need help, please either reach out to Ben or I, or call a helpline. Competitive and unbelievably driven, Marnie has some very special qualities and it was an honour to have an in-depth chat with her on her journey and relationship to 'winning'.
Marnie has founded multiple companies including Sporty Minis, MyBizAcademy and Sportsfit. She has also taught young people PE and has also coached high-level athletes. She has also competed at the highest level in both Indoor Netball (Nets) and Touch Rugby, representing England in both on an international level.
She now divides her time between all these businesses alongside business coaching, co-hostng the podcast @inspiringnurseries, mummying and of course, continuing her pursuit of sporting excellence.
I am so grateful that Angela spent her time on the podcast to discuss what winning means to her, how she has experienced success herself and how she has observed the success of others throughout her fascinating career.

Easily one of my favorite conversations with an amazing and awesome woman.
Founder of non-profit Bridging Mind and Body (https://bridgingmindandbody.org/), educator and visual artist. Her fields of particular interest and expertise include Expressive Arts, Yoga, meditation, teaching, and of course being a mom!
An all-around incredible lady and I got to talk to her in-depth about her thoughts around the art world and relating it back to the win-building concept, how finding value and worth, especially in the arts is so tough and how she has helped people to find their way.
We touched on the importance of understanding your self and your behaviours and responses to the external forces that challenge us all.
