Yılmaz, who started trading in his father's dried nuts shop during his primary school years, stayed in the dormitory for 4 years. His father wanted him to study and even learn English, but he was more inclined towards business. Yılmaz's life changed with the slap he received from his father in the 3rd grade of secondary school. He had only one goal: to feed himself. While he was in the military, his brother Abdullah Yılmaz's sentence, "We are going into the aluminum business," was the breaking point in his life. Since then, the two brothers, back to back, have achieved the almost impossible. Alcas, which stepped into the aluminum sector with 20 thousand 500 marks with the money of the period, is today an international company established on 42,000 m² of land, with a closed area of 36,000 m², an annual production capacity of 34 thousand tons, and exporting 85 percent of its products to 34 countries, especially America and European countries. It has become a giant company.

It was founded in Sultanhamam in 1938 to sell fabric and today it has become one of the leading brands of men's clothing in Turkey. Although his dream was to be an engineer, he gained his first experience of becoming a doyen of the industry by doing a coat tout during summer holidays. The feeling of being a young entrepreneur prevailed and he opened his first store, surprising his sick father, in Beyoğlu, the popular district of Istanbul. The young entrepreneur, who follows world trends, gave his surname "Kiğılı" to his brand, following the fashion of that period, even though he knew it would be difficult to pronounce. Today, "Kiğılı", which has its name written in golden letters in 200 stores in 70 provinces, 46 stores and 117 sales points in 51 countries, has become a world brand.
