Win the Day: Five Minutes with Pastor Nat Crawford on Oneplace.com

Nothing we can do for God, even good things, will earn us salvation. In Galatians, Paul looks at God's covenant with Abraham and reminds us that he was blessed because of his belief, not because of anything he did. David Platt examines this covenant with Abraham and points out that nothing we do earns us anything in God's eyes, but God's grace should inspire us to live in radical obedience to Christ.

What does a life of faith look like? David Platt takes us to Galatians where Paul confidently declares he has been "crucified with Christ." As we unpack this important truth of the Christian life, we'll learn how to avoid trying to please God by our own efforts and instead, live the life He has called and empowered us to live.

David Platt takes us back to the first days of the Christian church, when practically every day new believers were being confronted with new aspects of God's grace. From Peter's rooftop vision to Paul's confrontation with him in Antioch, we'll see these new ideas take root in the new church. We'll consider what salvation by grace alone looks like today and learn how we can help keep our own brothers and sisters in Christ accountable to the Gospel.

Imagine what the world would look like if Paul, after receiving Christ, never went anywhere and never talked about his encounter. While the Bible makes it clear we can't earn our salvation, it's also clear there is a purpose to our salvation--a reason we remain on earth covered by God's grace. David Platt continues our look at Galatians and asks us to consider where God may be sending us with His Word.

Salvation. It's one of the most important concepts for the Christian--and often one of most misunderstood. From the very beginning, men and women have been adding their own requirements to what it means to be saved. David Platt begins a study on Galatians looking at one particular group trying to influence the early believers. As we'll see, God's grace alone is sufficient to save--there is nothing we can do to merit any favor on our own.
