China owned company Bytedance has agreed to stop all operations involving them in the United States after President Trump said on Friday he had decided to remove them from United States app stores. This after negotiating with the White House.

Officials have said the popular TikTok under the Chinese owned company poses a national security risk because of the over 800 million monthly users and their personal data.

President Donald Trump had responded of such claims of espionage and that TikTok was spyware by announcing that he will issue an order for TikTok to be banned. Under a new proposed deal, Microsoft will take over tiktok in the United States and possibly another company could acquire it. Microsoft could just be involved in the security of the app.

President Trump said on Thursday the idea of delaying the United States November 3rd elections, a proposal that both democrats and republicans deny, saying that the sole right to do that is only congress. Many Democrats and critics say that this is just an attempt to distract people from the devastating economic news. Wall Street fell sharply today. This due to a sharp increase in jobless claims. Dow Jones fell 231 points and S&P 500 is loosing 14 points. This is expected to change as the stock market is still going on. President Trump said this in a tweet.

The private monitoring group was Recorded Future, a firm located in Somerville, Mass. Frederick Douglass Statue was torn away on the anniversary of his great speech.

One of the statues of one of the most greatest abolitionist, Frederick Douglass was torn away from its foundation in Rochester, New York on Sunday. It was exactly 168 years since the day he said the now famous speech, “What to a slave is the Fourth of July” The statue was located in Maplewood Park, this was one of the locations where the Underground Railroad used to be. Carvin Eison said the statue would be replaced. This follows after the death of George Floyd. Many teared down confederate statues, but trump keeps insisting that confederate statues is a part of history and should be protected.
