This is a timelapse screen capture of the Windows 98 Second Edition installation process. This was done on a real time-correct system with parts available for purchase in (or around) the year 1998. The system consisted of the following:
Intel Celeron 300A CPU (300MHz)
128MB of PC-100 SDRAM
Asus P2B Slot-1 Motherboard and Slotket adapter
3dfx Voodoo Banshee AGP Video Card (16MB)
Creative Labs Sound Blaster AWE64 Value (ISA)
Fujitsu 14GB 5400 RPM HDD
Toshiba DVD Drive
235W PSU and Aopen Case
Music is "8-Bit Dreamscape" by "The Whole Other".
