Tom Koys.  Today Father speaks regarding the 1st reading from mass on Sunday and the correlation of the position of Moses arms and who was winning the battle between the Israelites and the Amalekites. He discovers that the Amalekites were descendants of Esau. Being a history buff, he talks about the fact that family feuds affect history.  During the second half of the show Father goes into thoughts of CSW Lewis and ideology to share a couple of Aha! moments.

During the Week of Christian Unity JAN 18-25 do a work of service or volunteer. Lauretta has as her guest. Fr. Jason Brooks, a priest in the Legionaries of Christ. Inspired by his involvement with Encounter Ministries brings the healing power of the Holy Spirit through healing services and personal prayer ministry. Fr, Jason currently leads a Regnum Christi healing Ministry in Metro Detroit where he serves as a Chaplain for the adult lay members of the Regnum Christi Movement.

Lauretta Froelick welcomes Joyce Duriga, editor of Chicago Catholic and author of two books. Lauretta speaks about her recent retreat and how she evangelized by being rooted in love and how her Sabbath rest restored her. Joyce talks about employing angels into our lives for our spiritual health. They discuss how our destiny is to be as God created us to be. The discussion looks at the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage whose theme was “One Nation Under God.” Lauretta and Joyce highlight the effort to stop the State of Illinois from forcing healthcare workers to commit abortions which is a gross violation of conscience.

Father Anthony with Tony, and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish.  Today Father asks Cristina to share her thoughts on the movie Triumph Over Evil.  The film was released yesterday October 30, 2025.  She shares details of the movie and it all rings true to what the film’s producer Oscar Delgado, described the film to be on WOC in episode #4732.  Father Anthony summarizes their discussion regarding the film and topics touched on by saying that we are NOT to toy with Evil.

Lauretta informs us that today’s focus will be on the Blessed Mother as she discusses the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, which is celebrated today December 8th.  She discusses the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe which is celebrated on Friday December 12th.  Lauretta revels in what a blessing the Virgin Mother truly is for us and encourages us to pray the rosary and seek her intercession. She also chats about St. Nick which was celebrated on Saturday the 6th.  She informs us about Jimmy Lai, a courageous catholic activist for Democracy that is held captive by China.
