Fr. Anthony, Tony, and Cristina talk about the goings on with the Parish School. The school is in the process of a major transition to classical education while maintaining the commitment to a sound Catholic Education. Fr. Welcome to a Brain Wrinkling Wednesday with Fr. Tom Koys.  Today Father Koys reads a meditation by Fr. Ronald Knox: “A Retreat for Lay People”.  The meditation focuses on facing death-facing fears about death.  Is it ok for people of faith to fear death? He also shares a clip from Guy Gruder, Viet Nam Veteran at the Catholics for Catholics event in Florida about his experiences as a prisoner.

Lauretta celebrates Laetare Sunday as she shares the significance of the Rose color vestments worn on Sunday, as opposed to the purple, as the church is called to celebrate in joyful anticipation of the victory to come! Lauretta welcomes her guest, Kelly Conmey, the Executive Director of the Women’s Centers of Greater Chicagoland. They chat about the focus and services of the organization and invite you to the Annual Luncheon taking place in April. Anthony with Christina and Tony discuss various questions that are raised by members of the eighth-grade class of the parish school, much of the conversation revolving around the question “Is it ok to question your Faith?” And yet a much more important question that was raised, that being, "why are the lambs treated so nice and the goats so mean” in scriptures?  Enquiring minds want to know, so tune in to hear the discussions.

Welcome to a Brain Wrinkling Wednesday with Fr. Tom Koys.  Today Father Koys talks about his presence at the Catholics for Catholics gathering and Eucharistic Benediction at President Trump’s home at Mar-a-lago. The event was attended by 100 Catholic priests and laity. “The goal of this event was to pray — and to pray in a specifically Catholic way,” which coincided with the solemnity of St. Joseph on March 19th.
