For the longest time there was a veil between us and God's presence. We had to sacrifice animals to be able to come before the throne. But when Jesus died this veil was torn and we were able to enter. We need to leave all these lies in our lives and insecurities that keep us from seeing God in the fullest way we are able to.

The more you know God, the more He can take you through tough times. God is maturing us through His perfectness, and we are being transformed in his image. You are beautiful people, and when you look in the mirror know that you are exactly how God made you. So the changing that needs to be done is not on the outside, it's on the inside.

When you are right with God and living a right life you begin thinking God thoughts. Being deep in his presence and having as 1 Col. 2:16 says: "We have the mind of Christ". We are the temple, we should be embodying God on earth and it starts with our thoughts.

Two ways we can be bound by the cultural normal. One, we feel there is no more hope and we become complacent. Two, we get so damaged and hurt that we actually start to act ungodly and un-Christ-like. We need to rise up and become empowered to bring Christian values back, and that start with us.

Jesus' resurrection is a part of history that is part of our history. Our ability to know God is not based on our studies, they are meant to reveal his nature but to know Him is to be in relationship with Him. This will take us to take what Jesus did to die and be risen up again because of Love.

A core value that we have to create is to understand that Jesus is on our side. We're glorified by the son. Who can stand against us? His goodness stands with us.

The king may come with ideals that might be against what we believe. But do we have the faith to serve regardless and trust that God will take care of us in the process? What is our heart towards our leaders and how do we live in the midst of political chaos?

Sometimes we have confused noise for a sound of victory. Specially in the charismatic ministries. We jump and shout and sometimes confuse this noise for a sound of deliverance, of restoration, or of purpose. Waiting on the Lord is different than doing nothing. We need to learn the difference of what God has for us versus anything else that might not be from Him.

We can have the greatest prophets calling us higher and to greater things but what are we doing to step into what God is called us to. What can we do right now to get us closer to God and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

Declaring what God is doing in the room and being able to bring awareness into the room is to be in that place. The mindset that we are in when facing difficult situations is something we have to learn to live in not just on Sunday mornings but all the time.
