After allowing the fans to feel good about the team for a whole 24 hours, reports are surfacing that Heitz will return to CF97 for the 2024 season.  The team then follows that up with a lackluster performance against Charlotte FC at Soldier Field putting any playoff hopes in jeopardy.  Then, what appears to be a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel with reports of Mihailovic possibly returning to the Fire.

The Chicago Fire traveled to  Massachusettes to take on the New England Revolution and almost walked away with all three points but, in typical Chicago Fire fashion they cannot hold on to a lead. They blew the lead twice in one game.  Koutsias scores again, making it two goal in two games, are we seeing the start of our starting striker?
