What does the Bible teach in regard to the involvement and public participation of women in the worship assembly? Churches of Christ as some of the most strict on this issue and, given the fact that women comprise over half our membership, it is understandable that we re-evaluate what the Bible actually teaches about women in the assembly to make sure our views match the scriptures rather than trying to match the scriptures to our view.
What is the biblically consistent view? Is our current practice consistent? Is there a path that better accounts for the scriptures we have?
This video explores Acts 2, 1 Corinthians 11, 1 Corinthians 13, and 1 Timothy 2 to see what is really going on in those passages to help us be biblically informed today.
