Winging It...Kinda: Voice Over

I stepped back for a while, cause life is complicated...pretty much always, so this is a quick version of some updates.

I have a few regular gigs, a few live gigs, upcoming shows, and a lot of hope for what the future holds for my business.

On this episode Andrew has the opportunity to talk with the outstanding human that is Morgan Taylor! She is a Voice Actor in El Paso, Texas and after 10 years in the radio and commercial industry, has absolutely erupted onto the voice over scene with consistency and grace. She has worked with some of the biggest brands in the country, like Amazon, Garmin, Jergens, Biore, 7/11, Kia and Fifa World Cup, and Ashley Furniture, just to name a few!

I am so absolutely geeked that she took time to talk with us in today's episode. Today we talk about her start in the industry, how she found herself leaving radio to jump feet first into VO, and how in that process, much like all of us, was just winging it...kinda.

You can find out more about her on her website at https://morgantaylorproductions.com/ or checking out her Instagram @the.morgan.taylor

She has the ability to encourage and pull the best out of people, and her conversation with me did just that for me, and I hope it does the same for you!

On this episode Andrew has the opportunity to talk with the phenomenal and hilarious Hannah Parke. She is a Voice Actor in Philadelphia and you can hear her regularly in Regal promos, has voiced for the NFL, and many other projects!

I am so flippin stoked that she took time to talk with us in today's episode. Today we talk about her start in the industry, how she stays motivated and a significant brain surgery she went under during the pandemic that launched her into the VO world, and how all of us are really just winging it...kinda.

Her joy and contagious personality really inspires me to approach each day from the perspective of gratitude and be your full self in each and every performance.

On this episode Andrew has the opportunity to talk with the talented and classy Alaina Wis. She is a Voice Actor from the Chicago area and has used her voice in number of projects ranging from commercials, animations, videogames and beyond.

He caught the acting bug at a young age and has been going full speed towards his goals because something deep is guiding him. He's made some major and admirable life decisions to meet that goal!I am so grateful that he took time out of his schedule to meet with me and talk all things winging it, voice over, acting, and even an in depth talk on anime!

You can find out more about him on his website at https://www.javeregreen.com/ or checking out his Instagram @alwaysbetongreen

He is also a podcast host on his own podcast Tall Black Drama and you hear more of his thoughts on his journey in all things acting and life! https://open.spotify.com/show/62xP2O9IGsvGXgeZsPH8wr?si=0ae30f8b3b8b4d91

I hope you can relate to the joy, pain, and tenacity that someone stepping into this industry experiences.

On this episode Andrew has the opportunity to talk with the amazing Jenna Pinchbeck. She is a Voice Actor from the Philadelphia area and has used her voice in number of projects ranging from commercials, animations, live announcing, corporate trainings, and so much more.

I am so excited that she was so gracious with her time and joined me for this interview. Today we talk about how she got involved in Voice Overs, what drives her passion, and how all of us are really just winging it...kinda.

Andrew talks through some thoughts around story telling and more specifically how authenticity comes into play while trying to become the character. It's all a process and some days it goes smoother than others.
