Nicole dives into the story of Jamii Erway, who at just 15 was publicly humiliated when a TSA agent at Raleigh-Durham International Airport conducted a strip search to confirm her gender. This episode sheds light on the serious lack of protections for trans youth in the U.S. and how discriminatory actions are often supported by state and local legislation.

Nicole explores the broader impact of this discrimination, shares crucial resources for queer and trans individuals to know their rights, and calls for awareness and change. Knowledge is power—listen, learn, and share.
