Dr. Savelle was a man of integrity. He walked in divine favor. He was a man whose influence was felt around the world. As a podcast team, we wanted to honor his life by dedicating the remainder of this season to him. Today kicks off our Legacy Series. We will have conversations with key people in Brother Jerry's life. Family, friends, and ministry partners all come to the table. Starting with John and Sharon Bendixen, our South African Heritage of Faith Pastors. Their connection with Dr. Savelle and the ministry spans decades. The impact he had on their life is unmeasurable in their book. Church is Family. Or should we say the church becomes family when people get planted? Joe and Monica Capuchino have been faithful members of Heritage for years. They raised their children here, and they love serving in the church. They also know what it means to stay even when things get sticky. Like all organizations, leadership changes over time. Amid those changes, this couple has remained faithful. The body of believers here has often surrounded their family in times of great pressure. Like a two-way street, like giving and receiving, like seedtime and harvest. This is the design of the local church, and the Capuchinos have walked it out. The biggest takeaway from their story is that the faithful will flourish when planted in the House of the Lord.

We welcome back to the Pod, one of our favorite actors Dennis O'Neill. Dennis was a guest in our first season, and we are excited to have him back! Dennis lives a full life in the acting world as a writer, teacher, and producer. He recently released a book, Believe: Finding Your Character, and Actor's Journey. He shares his testimony and sound advice to aspiring actors and actresses. He is the Producer of Bail Out, a TV series comedy aimed to capture your attention with laughter while delivering a heartwarming message. Heritage partnered with Dennis to film one of the episodes of Bail Out on the church property. It features cameos from members of the church body, including Pastor Justin! This conversation is entertaining, just like our friend Dennis, and will leave you smiling!
