En: In the middle of a cold Finnish winter, the library in a small town was like a warm oasis.
Fi: Ikkunoista näkyi valkeaksi peittynyt puisto, ja sisällä vallitsi hiljainen rauha.
En: From the windows, you could see a park covered in white, and inside there was a calm, peaceful silence.
Fi: Ihmiset liikkuivat rauhallisesti, kirjahyllyjen välissä, välillä pysähtyen selaamaan kirjan sivuja.
En: People moved quietly between the bookshelves, occasionally stopping to browse the pages of a book.
Fi: Aino astui kirjastoon huopatossut jalassa ja hengitys huuruten.
En: Aino stepped into the library with felt boots on her feet and her breath misting in the air.
