By the time you hear this, Winter Solstice will have just passed. It is not only the start of the season of Winter (however you experience the weather), but the start of the Light Half of the Year even if we can’t yet perceive the increase of daylight yet. On The Path, we celebrate our New Year at this time. It is a nod to our practical side because at least it is close to the change in the calendar. Take a moment to reflect how many different cultures have some sort of celebration at this time of year to celebrate the return of the Light and however you celebrate, may you have a joyous holiday.
