Behavior always follows grace, so none of the character traits that Peter is commanding us to can be done without grace.

What Holiness is NOT...

Christ has come, and He will return. It is the promise of this season.

The Bible is a better cleanser than that which is advertised on the radio or television. It takes out and can keep out the soiled spots in the heart.

Christmas is an irrepressible hope that God moves and acts in our day.

Jesus is the reason...

When Jesus met Simon, he named him "Peter", or "Rock", even though Peter's character at that time was decidedly un-rocklike. Jesus saw what he would become, just as he sees as, not only as we are but as what we will become in Him.
