Join us as we interview a great and honorable pillar of our Buffalo community, my cousin (shameless plug), Tyree Parker!🎉🏀🏈🏆 More about Cuz in a bit... let's get at the subtext. We operationalize affirmations as the ideas/thoughts we see in our minds; confirmations as personal ceremonial honorings/celebrations; and–manifestations as the goal(s) achieved. Now, back to Cuz!
Tyree Parker is a hard worker having worked with a wide range of youth in the Western New York area. He’s motivated to identify, educate, and develop students and student athletes throughout his community and at Health Sciences Charter School.
Tyree’s current and primary goal is to help build character in students and incorporate Determination, Dedication & Discipline throughout the school & athletic programs with hopes of instilling confidence and character development among all of the students at Health Sciences Charter.
For the past 5 years Tyree has been the Head Basketball Coach for Health Sciences Falcons. Since Tyree has been the head coach at Health Sciences Charter the basketball team has won 5 Charter Cup Titles, 3 Section VI Titles, 2 Far West Regional Titles, 2 State Championship Final Four appearances and finished ranked #1 in Western New York Polls 3 out of 5 years. Tyree has earned Section VI Class B Coach of The Year honors in back to back seasons. He has -also- coached and mentored youth all the way to the pros (NFL & NBA).
As a 1st year Football Head Coach for Health Sciences Falcons Tyree and his football program went 10-2 and won the Section VI Class B Championship as well as the Far West Regional Championship and Tyree was named Buffalo News Coach of The Year.
Tyree is now responsible for helping the girl’s athletic programs rise to the same prominence as his boy teams. He has now taken on the role of Assistant Athletic Director to infuse his excellence into the entire athletics program.
