Auf Einladung der VHS-SüdOst im Landkreis München haben Lucas von Gwinner und Dirk von Gehlen eine Sonderfolge zum Thema Werbung aufgenommen. Nach klassischem Wirbt das?-Muster haben sie sich eine aktuelle Kampagne ausgewählt und anhand derer über Mechanismen der Kommunikation gesprochen.
Darüberhinaus geht es aber auch um alte Werbung und die Frage wie sich werbliche Kommunikation verändert hat, wir besprechen den Trigema-Affen und das Nerv-Potenzial von Seitenbacher- und Carglass-Spots.

Wie kommuniziert die Regierung eigentlich in der Corona-Krise? Lucas von Gwinner und Dirk von Gehlen befassen sich mit dem Fünf-Stufen-Plan der Ministerpräsident:innen-Konferenz, den Söder-Biografin Anna Clauss als Bedienungsanleitung für ein Gesellschaftsspiel bezeichnet. Außerdem in dieser Folge: O-Töne von SPD-Kommunikationsexpertin Carline Mohr, Joe Biden, Klaus Brinkbäumer, Angela Merkel, Ulf Buermeyer, Friedrich Küppersbusch und Peter Wittkamp. Eine informations-satte Folge, die vor allem zu der Erkenntnis führt: Kommunikation wird offenbar in der Politik immer noch unterschätzt.

Der erste Podcast, der in Twitter-Spaces aufgenommen wurde: Lucas von Gwinner und Dirk von Gehlen nutzen den Audio-Bereich von Twitter um über Werbung auf Twitter zu sprechen. Leider scheitert die Aufnahme wegen eines technischen Fehlers. Sie machen die Schwäche zur Stärke und zeichnen die Folge als Meta-Folge nochmal auf - mit dem Autor Peter Wittkamp, der am Start der BVG-Kampagne beteiligt war, die als besonderes Beispiel für digitale Kommunikation analysiert wird.
