Former First Round NFL draft pick Antoine Cason was a 2 sport athlete at Arizona competing in track and football. He earned All American honors for his contribution to the the Men's 4x100 team and was earned the Jim Thorpe Award, an award won by the top best defensive back in the country on the college level and was a consensus First-team All-America choice.

After completing his career at the University of Arizona, he was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Cason also went on to play for the Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, and Baltimore Ravens.
