You might have heard of IBM's Deep Blue beating chess champions in 1996, IBM's Watson beating Jeopardy champions in 2011, and Google Deepmind's AlphaGo beating Go champion Lee Sedol in 2016. These are all key milestones in machines outperforming man at their own games.
