Beeindruckend ist, dass Nölken Hygiene seit 2011 eine nachhaltige Berichtserstattung vorweist. Damit ist Nachhaltigkeit bei Nölken seit 2011 fester Bestandteil der Unternehmensstrategie, um Themen wie Zukunftsfähigkeit, ressourcenschonende Produktion, ökologisches und gesellschaftliches Engagement und Verantwortung unternehmensweit zu platzieren sowie systematisch zu erfassen und weiterzuentwickeln.
Im Juli 2023 wurde Nölken Hygiene Products GmbH für den Deutschen Nachhaltigkeitspreis nominiert.

Bei der Herstellung mobiler Endgeräte werden Ressourcen und Energie verbraucht. Deshalb will everphone mit einem Kreislauf-Konzept dafür sorgen, dass Smartphones und Tablets länger genutzt werden. Denn je länger die Nutzung, desto geringer die Umweltbelastung.
Everphone gehört zur Community der Ellen-MacArthur-Foundation, dem weltweit größten Netzwerk für Circular Economy. Everphone will so viele Firmengeräte wie möglich wiederverwenden.
Im Vergleich zur Produktion eines neuen Smartphones spart man durch Instandsetzung und Wiederverwendung rund 58 kg CO₂-Emission ein. Bei Tablets ist es sogar mehr als das Doppelte.
Der Anspruch, die Nutzung von Smart Devices so nachhaltig wie möglich zu machen.

Velen Menschen ist nicht bewusst, wie umweltschädlich elektronische Neugeräte sind. Bei der Produktion entstehen Unmengen an CO₂-Emissionen, es werden wertvolle Ressourcen verbraucht und am Ende bleibt nur noch problematischer Elektroschrott übrig, der aufwendig entsorgt werden muss.
