Green Bay Packers preseason is over, the roster is cut down and we are less than two weeks away from the season starting! Tonight we will be projecting stats for the main players on the Packers offense and defense.

Shortly after we created Wisco Fanatics, we decided to make a shift, to cover the Wisconsin sports teams we love and to do it with an optimistic perspective. We are both mental health advocates and wanted to positively affect our mental health and that of our followers by changing the way we watch and analyze our favorite teams.

Another slight shift took us to adding the realistic part of the title because we didn't want the connotation of optimistic to people thinking we only see sunshine and rainbows. We retain the ability to remain level headed with our teams and want to pass that work onto our followers. This is what it means to us.

This week Jake and Tyler are proposing bold but plausible questions and statements to each other relating to all five teams we cover, Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers basketball and football, to see if they can get the other to defend the bold take. 

This week we are discussing our Green Bay Packers roster predictions and what the depth chart could look like. We're also discussing what rookies, year two players and year three players can find themselves with contributing roles to the team.

Lastly, we're going to discuss which players on both sides of the ball are most likely to be overrated, underrated, to breakout and most improved. #GoPackGo

This week is part one of our Wisconsin Badgers football season lead-up. This week we are giving a refresh on all of the players who left the program, whether by the transfer portal or graduation, and all of the incoming players from the portal and 2026 recruiting class.

We also will be giving X-Factors for the 2026 season offensively and defensively. #OnWisconsin

The MLBPA and MLB have made early proposals for the collective bargaining agreement for 2027 and beyond. The early proposals do not sound promising for those of us wanting to watch baseball in 2027.
