Two women are described: Wisdom and Folly.

Proverbs 9:1-12

The woman Wisdom desires a relationship. She wants people to come and learn. Compare John 9:35; Revelation 22:17; Matthew 5:6; Proverbs 10:17; 4:11

When seeking wisdom, you can walk with no one wiser than Christ. Colossians 2:3

Proverbs 9:3-6 – The woman sends out messengers to invite people to wisdom. Compare Luke 14:16; II Corinthians 5:20; Luke 11:49; I Corinthians 2:6

Romans 10:14 – God sends out His messengers.
