WISDOM FOR YOUR WALK

For many years of my life I struggled with consistently having joy. I hope the thoughts in this podcast change your life, as they did mine.

One of my members was dying of pancreatic cancer. He would often call me when he was looking for comfort. To encourage him, I would recite lyrics from the old hymn How Firm a Foundation. The truths written in that great hymn gave him peace in his time of need.

The book of Revelation was written around 2,000 years ago. This scripture has provided comfort for believers back, and it provides comfort for us today.

I attended Bob Jones University from 1970-1977. During that time I learned the BJU Creed with covered 9 basic Bible doctrines. 

In 1830 Andrew Jackson pardoned a man by the name George Wilson. What happened after that will shock you, but it is, in essence, what multitudes of people are doing today.

God has granted us free will. The choices we make in this life are of utmost importance because there is coming a time when our free will is going to be stripped away.

The method that you choose to interpret the Bible will determine what you believe in the Bible. Stay away from the pitfall of doubting God's Word by using the literal method of interpretation.
