There are times in life when you have done all the praying and it seems God is silent. You are like, "Hello, are you still there?" Trust me, it's a stressing place to be. According to Theologians, there was a period of silence between the Old Testament and The New Testament. Theologians said it was a period of 400 years. God said nothing during that period. In my podcast, I have mentioned what happened after those years of silence. After those years of silence, God did something that changed the trajectory of our lives. Where we were supposed to face a penalty for our sins, God sent us a Saviour who redeemed us from sin once and for all. Am beginning to realise that when God seems silent, it doesn't mean, He is not working on your request. If the curtain is closed, it doesn't mean the show is not going to happen, it just means the actors are preparing themselves behind the scenes. When that curtain opens up, that's when you realise it was worth waiting. Surely, you wouldn't want a half cooked meal, you want something that someone took their time to prepare. Same way, when God seems silent, He is preparing the best for you, don't quit, wait for it. In the time of waiting, don't sit idle, don't complain or murmur. Put on your joy and start praising and thanking God for what He is about to do. Read books and listen to stuff that will encourage your faith. God will never disappoint, He is always on time.🙏

One thing for sure, the enemy doesn't give up on us. As long as you are all out for God, you are the devil's worst enemy. The Israelites found themselves stuck between the red sea and Pharaoh's army. Trust me, it was a scary situation to the point they said they would have been better off being in bondage in Egypt. Have you been in that place; You are not the only one. The Bible had to tell us that Elijah was just a man like us, so we don't get surprised when we see him running away from Jezebel. Anytime you feel like retreating, that's the time to trust The Lord, and advance. Going back is not an option, because there is nothing good there. Faith is about taking a step of Faith, and I would say, taking a step forward. God walks with us all the time, therefore when you take a step forward, He walks with you. Today, don't have a grasshopper mentality, see yourself as a Giant and know God is walking with you every step. The battle does not belong to you, it belongs to The Almighty God, and He has never lost a battle. Move on and crossover to the other side.

I used to think every time I had a problem I have to ask someone to pray for me, trust me there is nothing wrong in asking someone to pray for you. I believe just like a child grows from being a baby to adulthood, it applies to us Christians as well. There are times when children move from home and start being independent. I believe as believers, we have to come to a point where we face our Goliath all by ourselves. David did it as a teenager, why can't we do it as well. We have a new covenant, that is based on better promises. We have all it takes to stand up against the enemy. All we need is to know who we are in Christ and the authority He has given us. It's the truth that you know that will set you free. You can only know this by depositing the Word of God into your Spirit. Be where the Word of God is taught and also study the word for yourselves using tools like, Daily Devotionals, reading books from good authors and watching teachings from good Bible Teachers.

When God anoints you for a particular purpose, trust me, that's when you start to face so much opposition or attacks. This is no time to retreat, when God gave us His Armour, it was meant for the front, nothing for the back; that means we are not to retreat but face our Goliath. One thing I have realized from the story of David is that, after God Anointed him King over Israel, no matter how many times Saul tried to kill him, he didn't succeed, why, because David hadn't accomplished that which God had anointed him for. Whatever God has anointed you for, no-one and nothing can take you out before you accomplish that which God has anointed you for. Whatever battles you face, stay in faith, those battles are taking you a step closer to God's promises for you. When you wait upon the Lord, strength is renewed, you will come out on the other side stronger than before. See you at the top🙏

I have realized in my own life that when God speaks, sometimes I dismiss it thinking it was my own thoughts. I think sometimes it's because we were made to think God speaks to certain people not us. We were made to think that there are special people that God speaks to. I think that kind of thought is the reason why many fall for false prophets, because they believe there has to be someone who hears God on their behalf. In this podcast, I have given examples of ordinary people that God spoke to and used for His purpose. God can take a nobody and turn them into a somebody. Let's not look down on anyone, I believe each and everyone of us have something to contribute to society.

Most of the time people hate you because of what they heard about you. I don't think it's a good thing to believe everything you hear about an individual, what if it's not true. God wants us to love our neighbors as ourselves. It's best to leave judgement to God. God calls us the Apple of His Eye and He says whoever touches you, is touching Him. That means God fights our battles. In my podcast am highlighting that, don't stay in the same camp as those who do things that a contrary to the word of God, because if calamity strikes in their camp, you will be caught up as well, because you are not under The Covering of The Blood of Jesus Christ.

There are time when you have this serious problem and you pray about it, and you need an answer like yesterday, but it seems there is no answer coming. You are like, "Hello God, are you still there!" Weeks, Months, Years go by and people are beginning to question if your God exists. Most of the time when you are about to get an answer the enemy throws his best blow. His aim is, for you to just give up. Be like Jesus Christ praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, He was now facing the reality of the Cross. In His conversation with the Father, Jesus Christ was honest that He wished the cup to pass, but He would rather do The Father's Will. No matter how it feels now, you are almost there, don't quit. In life we come through some hurts and pains. Some of the things are not easy to forget, they keep lingering at the back of your mind and you keep having flashbacks of what happened. Once you entertain those flashbacks, it starts feeling like a fresh wound, which is not good enough. The other thing is if you keep entertaining these past hurts, your life will be on a standstill. There are times when God whispers to you to give away something that is valuable to you, that is called a sacrifice. I am not talking about money, it can be something. In that scenario most of the time we will lie to ourselves that it must be the devil. It takes sacrifice, obedience and faith to give away what you value. Abraham did that when God asked him to sacrifice his only son. If we read Genesis 22:1, it tells us God was testing and proving Abraham. In other ways God wanted to see if Abraham really trusted Him. Of course God doesn't do human sacrifices that's why we have Genesis 22:1; And the other thing, God won't tell you He is testing and proving you. Same as when you are talking exams, they don't give you the answers. Once you pass God's testing and proving, He now can trust you with bigger things.

I have done this episode based on my own experiences. There are times when you are so desperate and you ask for help from people. With some people, their help to you will come with terms and conditions. If they help you they expect to live your life, I mean they will tell you what not to do and what you can do. If you are not careful, you will be like, oh if I don't do as they say, they might stop helping me. If you allow them to live your life because you need their help, that will be the same as you signing a Terms of Service. The worst thing is once you allow someone to live your life, your life is now on a standstill because you are not using your free will. You can't even use the giftings that God has put in you. Next time when you need help, ask God to send you the right people who don't have terms and conditions; People who want to see you getting better in life, not people who will keep reminding you that they helped you. Hope this will help someone. The moment I broke free from helpers with terms and conditions, God sent me the right people. He will do it for you as well.
