  • FOLLOW, MAKE & USE - (Calling & Ministry Series)

Jesus didn't just command his disciples to follow him and forsake everything else. The reason they followed Him was that he gave them a deeper sense of purpose and meaning by impacting the lives of men. Although we want to be used by God, we are not interested in following Him. By following God, you will be made first and used by Him. You must follow God before you can be used by God.

Mark 1:17-20 (NKJV) 17 Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” 18 They immediately left their nets and followed Him. 19 When He had gone a little farther from there, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending their nets. 20 And immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants and went after Him.

    SermonCast - HIS SILENT PRESENCE

The Bible uses silence in several ways. We shall examine the silence of God in the context of the absence of communication and the absence of intervention. Even though we assume God is silent in reality, the Scriptures stress out that God is not silent eventually.

THE SUBSTANCE OF HOPE - Christian Living Theme

    CHRISTIAN LIVING THEME (SERIES)

One of the three main elements of Christian faith - 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV) And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Hope is a trustful expectation, particularly with reference to the fulfillment of God’s promises. Biblical hope is the anticipation of a favourable outcome based on the promises of God in His word.

“The substance of hope depends on the ground upon which it is based.” – Wisdom Grace

SermonCast - DIVINE ACCESS TO GOD

James 4:8 (NKJV) 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

In summary, to have access to God means to draw near to God and God will draw near to you.

To access God in a biblical sense means to be in His presence.  Not having access to God is the absence of God’s presence in your life.
