Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 14. I will then key in on verse 30 -0 A sound heart is life to the body, But envy is rottenness to the bones. Friends, envy is a synonym of covetousness. The 10th Commandment tells us that we are NOT to covet. Whether it is a job, a house, a car, a spouse, or anything else someone has (that you would secretly like to have as your own) it is like rottenness to your bones. In other words, it stinks. Let's rid ourselves of envy. On today's podcast we are celebrating St. Valentine's Day - a day that is set aside to show romance to our spouse or boyfriend or girlfriend. Today I will give a bit of history of this holiday and how it came about. I will then pray for all the couples out there.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 12. I will then key in on verse 1 - Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid. Friends, we should do all we can to obtain knowledge, and eventually use that knowledge to gain understanding - which will lead to acquiring wisdom. On today's podcast I will be by reviewing the three points of Monday's podcast. I will then continue our study of the letter of Paul the Apostle to the Ephesians. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask you to consider:

1. Paul prayed that all believers would have the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God.

2. God raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.

3. He pout all things under His feet and gave Him to be head over all things.

Call to Action - Have you ever contemplated the suffering that Jesus took on the cross of Cavalry for you (and for me)? He came to earth - knowing that He would one day die on a Roman cross for the sins of all mankind. We deserved to die, but He took our place on that cross so that we might be saved from our sins.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 11. I will then introduce you to my special guest, Craig Sculthorpe. Craig will be sharing a portion of his testimony today with us. He will tell us that he was born in 1945, and share a bit about his early childhood. He will then tell us a little of the story of when he received Jesus as his Lord and Savior when he was in his early 30s. He will then go back to his years of serving our country for six years in the Marine Corps during the 60s. He will discuss how he studied to go into the ministry and how he was invited to lead a church in the Miami, Florida area. We then briefly discuss his wife. Craig has accepted the invitation to become a regular member of this podcast and will be on again in a bout six months.

He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray. Friends, every day we have numerous decisions to make. We can choose to do good, or we can choose to do evil. I pray that you choose to do good all the time (or as often as possible). On today's podcast I will begin by reviewing the three points from last Thursday's podcast. After going over those three points we will go over verses 13 & 14 of the 1st Chapter of Ephesians. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

2. The Holy Spirit dwells with us, & is inside of us.

3. We have been purchased by thge Lord Jesus - who paid for us by His shed blood.

These verses tell us the importance of embracing wisdom and following the commandments instructed of us in the Bible. 1. Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

2. You need to develop several close Christian friends that can be there for you.

3. To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Friends, our word is important. If someone asks us for help financially, for instance, do not say that you can help them (if you are not sure that you currently have the funds available to help them). If they ask you for several hours of your time to help them with a project of some sore, do not automatically say that you can do it (without checking your calendar to make sure you are able to do it). On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Book of Ephesians. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance.

2. All of God's children have an inheritance based on their relationship with God.

3. God chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.

Call to Action - When someone asks you for help (financially) or with a project (time availability) do you check to make sure you either currently have the funds available to help them, or the time available to assist them with that project)? Our word is important. If you make a promise, make sure you can fulfill that promise.

I will then key in on verses 1 & 2 - My son, pay attention to my wisdom; Lend your ear to my understanding, That you may preserve discretion, And your lips may keep knowledge. As in my verse of the day on Monday this verse talks about how important it is to God that we first have knowledge, then understanding, and finally wisdom - and use it in our everyday lives. On today's podcast we will review the three points from yesterday's lesson. Then, we will continue in the Book of Ephesians, Chapter 1, verse 9. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Jesus has made known to us the mystery of His will.

2. They mystery is that Israel has been temporarily and partially hardened, but God has not rejected them.

3. God used the gospel, which is the preaching of Jesus Christ, to establish the Roman believers.
