Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 5. I will then key in on verse 15 - Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well. On today's podcast I would like for all married couples to recommit themselves to each other. I will begin by going over Genesis, Chapter 2: verses 21-25. These verses go over God's original desire for man and woman - that they enter into a marriage relationship. I will then go over 1 Peter, Chapter 5: verse 8. This verses tells us that there is an adversary (the devil) and he will do all he can to destroy the relationship that you have with your spouse. I will then go to the Song of Solomon - Chapter 6, and read verses 4-10. These verses remind us of when we first fell in love. We need to remember the feelings we had for our spouse when we first fell in love with them. I will then go to 2 Timothy, Chapter 2, verse 22. This is Paul's warning to flee youthful lusts. Satan will come after our marriage and do all he can to destroy it. I will close by revisiting the 15th verse of Proverb 5.

Call to Action: I ask that everyone pray over their marriage and that God give you the desire to have the best year of your marriage yet.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 4. I will then key in on verse 7 - Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Today we will continue our study on the Book of Job. Today we will be looking at Chapter #28. This chapter is entitled "Job's Discourse on Wisdom. Proverb 4 is entitled "Security in Wisdom". After reading the 28th chapter there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Wisdom cannot "be found."

2. You can't put a price on wisdom.

3. The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom!

Call to action: Pray to God for Him to give you wisdom (see James 1:5)

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 3. I will then key in on verses 13-18. These verses speak of the importance of wisdom. These verses imply that nothing can be compared to the importance of having wisdom in your life. Today we will continue our study on the Book of Job. We will take a closer look at Chapter #27. By the end of this podcast I ask that you consider three points:

Regardless of what happens in your life you should always:

1. Trust God

2. Have integrity

3. Have (and use) Wisdom

Call to Action - When you read scripture, are you reading (with expectation) that the Holy Spirit is instructing you on the way you should live your life?

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley.  Today we will be going over Proverb 2.  I will then introduce you to my fellow 2nd year Charis Bible College student.  Amy-Joy is from Germany and was raised in a Christian home.  She talks about her early childhood and that she did not really understand that we are supposed to have a relationship with Jesus.  She shares about how her Dad came to the knowledge of Andrew Wommack and that he was so impressed with the grace message that he took the first two years on-line.  He felt that the Lord was. calling him to 3rd year - so the entire family moved to Woodland Park, Colorado.  While they were here Amy's mom went to 1st year herself.  Several years later Amy-Joy felt that the Lord was calling her to Woodland Park and she is now in 2nd year.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill & Judy Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 1. I will then key in on verse 33 - But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure without fear of evil. On today's podcast I will go over a prayer for everyone that will listen to this podcast during 2024. I will go over these five desires of mine:

1. All people receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior

2. All people desire to have an intimate relationship with God (and His son Jesus)

3. Every marriage is strengthened this year and stronger than its ever been - Genesis 2:21-25

4. That men become the spiritual leaders of their household - Ephesians 5:25-27

5. That everyone becomes more and more like Jesus - John 13:34-35

Judy will then go over the two words that God has spoken to her concerning 2024 - that being "Be Ready." We need to be ready at all times for the return of the Lord Jesus.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill and Judy Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 29. Judy and I will then go over what the Lord has been speaking to each of us individually. Judy has been really digging deep into the scriptures and is delighting herself in the Lord. I will pray out this year and say a prayer over everyone listening to the podcast.

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 28. I will then key in on verse 20 - A faithful man will abound with blessings, But he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. Friends, if you are faithful to God your life will succeed. Today we will be continuing where we left off yesterday (if you did not get a chance to listen to yesterday's podcast I invite you to do so). Today we will look at Jesus's prayer to all believers living today - to you and to me. It is found in the 17th chapter of John's gospel - verses 20-26. I will read these verses and go over the commentary found in my Bible (the Nelson Study Bible) for these verses. I will then close with John's instructions to us today found in 1 John, Chapter 4, verses 17-21. These verses tell us that we are to love one another. We are also to become more and more like Jesus Himself.

Call to Action - Ask yourself this question - Are you living your life as though you love God and love people?

I will then key in on verse 21 - The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold And a man is valued by what others say of him. Today I will be going over Chapter #17 of John's gospel. The first 5 verses is Jesus's prayer to God for Himself. I will read these verses and then read the commentary in my Bible referring to these verses (the Nelson Study Bible). I will then read verses 6 through 19. These verses is the prayer of Jesus for His disciples. I will go over the commentary pertaining to these verses as well. I will then return to our verse of the day, verse 21. I will go over the fact that we need to be purified once we make the decision to receive Jesus.

Call to Action - Ask yourself if you are living a "pure" life (by the words you speak and by the things you do?

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley.  Today we will be going over Proverb 26.  I will then introduce you to my special guest for the day, Lenna Martin.  Lenna is a fellow 2nd year Charis Bible College student.  Lenna shares that she was born and raised in a Christian household and there was much joy and laughter in her house.  An yet, she didn't have a close personal relationship with the Lord.  That did not happen until her first year of college.  She shares about the death of her father during her second year of college and how she had an opportunity to spend the ending of his life with him.  She then shares how she ended up at Charis Bible College and how first year really drew her closer to Jesus.  She shares how 2nd year has taken her out of her comfort zone and how she really has grown this year.  Finally, she shares about her upcoming mission trip to Alaska and how much she is looking forward to it.
