Every person desires to know God. In Matthew 2, the wise men seek the newborn King. We have to recognize God's constant working in our lives. The Holy Spirit draws people to Jesus, as the wise men, guided by the star, found the newborn King. Wise men today still sense God's presence, acknowledging a purpose beyond this life. The gifts they present mirror God's ultimate gift—Jesus. This Christmas, in the gift-giving, remember the wise men's offering. We too need to push toward God and a relationship with Him. Wise men still seek Jesus—the answer to every heart's longing.
