Wish It Was The 90s

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals! Pat, Sam and Simon look back at the Christmas (?) classic, Home Alone 2. The lads discuss what a Christmas movie is, some memories of the film and Simon's kids reactions to the sticky/wet bandits. Are you a Christmas grinch or a lonesome rogue with a heart of gold, waiting for Kevin McCallister to brighten your Christmas?

Sean attempts to paraphrase IMDb's movie synopses for Simon, Sam and regular guest-star Marty T to have a crack and guessing the 90s film. Play along and keep your score. The team does surprisingly well - either Sean's too kind, or we have become the masters of our art.

Sean leads the lads through 1995, which was a narfin' good year. Pat, Sam, Sean and Simon debate the best among:

• Music

There are some agreements, a few arguments, and a couple of Pale Ale induced yarns.

FAN REQUEST! After the mild success of our first #BatmanTAS episode we're jumping into #JokersFavor this week. Our first look at #MarkHamill as the #Joker AND the first ever appearance across TV, movies and comics of #HarleyQuinn

Pat and Sean continue their two-man dive into the series and are certainly happy to take any requests from our beloved listeners.

Sam is joined by The Simpsons fandom royalty Simon and Marty to discuss the classic episode, Rosebud. Rosebud originally aired on October 21st, 1993 to rave reviews and the guys have not a bad word to say about it. In the search for Burns' bear Bobo, they discuss the Ramones performance, Smithers' supporting acting and the cameo characters in this fine episode.

Green screen and David Hasselhoff go together like tearaways and the 90s! Tune in to hear Pat, Simon and Sam's take on The Hoff's take on Hooked on a Feeling. The lads delve into this masterpiece of cringe, whether he is more of a Chris or Lance Cairns, and tackle some Youtube comments in the process. Link below!

Saturday Morning Cartoons meets This Week On as Pat and Sean start a dive into Batman: The Animated Series! Starting Season One's two-parter Two-Face (airing 23 & 25 September 1992). We discuss our fond memories of getting up on a Saturday morning with the sole purpose of watching Batman. We chat about the aesthetic, music, incredible voice acting and general awesomeness of the show.

Pat, Sam, Sean and Simon get together to talk music videos of the 90s. What is memorable? What is quintessentially 90s? What is Macauley Culkin doing on a Michael Jackson music video? We take some listener requests, as well as take some inspiration from WatchMojo's 20 Most Ridiculous 90s Music Videos.

TEAL, PURPLE, YELLOW, BLACK! That's right, it's four millennial men discussing fashion! Simon, Sam, Pat and Sean discuss the best and perhaps worst, but certainly most iconic sporting uniforms of the 90s. Everything from NBA to ARL to American Gladiators and WWF. The lads discuss, argue and cry over what uniforms are quintessentially 90s.

Did we miss something? Let us know, we love being told we are wrong.

Due to popular demand (one patron request), here it is, our episode on Mortal Kombat Annihilation that is hopefully more enjoyable than the film. Sean and Pat are joined by part-timer Marty T and fresh guest (and said patron) Stratties. The question is, is this the worst thing we have had to cover and should this be categorised as Cringe Factor? Join us as we discuss the butchering of all your favourite characters like blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameos from #SubZero and #Scorpion as well as the horrible recasting of #Raiden and truly unforgiveable performance of #Cindel
