you know sometimes when we do these episodes, some things will hit us and catch us off guard due to something beyond our control. with that being said, we here at phat dabs in the morning would like to say rest in peace and send condolences to the family of one of the greatest manga artists ever, akira toriyama. as one who grew up on dragon ball z as one of my first forays into anime, this is a loss that everyone in the anime community will feel for quite a while to come. to say that we can't thank you enough for all the memories and characters you have brought to us throughout the years in an understatement. yet we place ourselves out there just this once in order to say thank you. thank you for everything mr toriyama. and to think when that hit in the middle of this episode, we were in the middle of a whole other subject. yet when something that effects your life that much hit you all of a sudden, you can't just sweep that to the side. it serves as a reminder that sometimes life will throw something at you even you are rwady to smoke for. hell before that we were just sitting here in the village having a look back at the 90s and 2000s and having a learning moment about one back when vice wasn't so hit or miss with their documentaries and look back to when all this madness you see nowadays was in its infancy. oh your bowl mates go through a plethora of shit from those times for one just to go back to a time when things seemed simpler. a time before the word hindsight was invented apparently because quite frankly who knew that it would evolve into the madness you see today in this society. we took enough dabs to go down the road of 90s talk shows or as we like to call them your sick from school special. ricki, jerry, jenny, geraldo if you from that gen you know what time it is. hell we pregamed with an episode of charlie sheenand his madness mainly because in case no one has told you we here love charlie. that is right charlie sheen can smoke with us. he will never be permitted to pack the bowl mind you, yet he can smoke with us, hell he may have to bring his own piece as well. we love you charlie mind you. we take a look at the internet in its infancy and apparently ust how nuts it all went down back then as well. trust us when we tell you we did not know how cutthroat the pet accesory business was. why go down this lane you may ask? because with spring coming up in 24 and everything going even more and more insane out here, it never hurts to take a look back to when a time when things were simpler and not so complicated and a look to see where some of this shit going on right now could have been avoided. spoiler alert, mainly the issue was money. why because it is always money. yet no matter because for those who weren't alive for some of this shit from back in the day, or for those who remember some of this crazy shit they sold to us, for better or for worse we will let you decide. we look at the real world before that show and mtv in general fucked it up and their fan base got older and smarter. once again a matter of you to decide. hell considering the alternative is prep for the upcoming change in the season and the introduction once again to allergy season. fuck allergy season by the way, we going to need all the good times we can get. we got more on the way for the year coming up especially with the 420 episode coming up as well. for those who know, that is our day, what shall we do for that episode??? I wonder. but that will wait for later. we gonna get back on these dabs and take more trips down memory lane. come join us in the village for the sesh. you already here. it will be as you say a bonding experience.
