Missing money, mysterious murderer, mystical witch!!!

It's fun to start a book knowing you already love the characters--that's how it is with me and Donovan's Detective Marcella Witch's Series. Each story is stand-alone wonderful, but the build up from one to the next is amazing. I don't know how Mr. Donovan does it, but I hope he keeps doing it for a long time. I feel like these characters are long time friends of mine! (They are that well developed and that complex.)

It's sort of like real life, stuff just keeps happening to them. The story as an episode ends, but as life it always leaves the door open for more. In this "episode", Book 5, there's missing money, a mysterious murderer, and of course, Lilith the mystical witch, and more! I hate to give away a plot, but trust me, this is a fun and entertaining who-dun-it and much more, all because the story is woven intricately and the characters come alive and walk right into your life. Keep it up Mr. Donovan---please!

I enjoyed this book, even though it needed better proof reading. I would recommend this book to everyone who reads!

Marcella Witch Series

I loved the story! This author is going to be awesome! I wish there had been an editor with spellcheck or just plain old spellcheck used, but then maybe I am too anal about spelling and phraseology. The characters are well rounded and you will feel as if you know them after a while. The ongoing relationship between Detective Tony Marcella and Lilith alongside the detective story provides the reader with a great story! Well worth the minimal cost. Lilith and her witchcraft... Marcella and his murder mysteries.... You get it all in every book!

I have enjoyed every book to date. This particular story, Witch House, gives much of the background of the characters for those who may not be reading them in order. (I found it difficult to know which book to read next once they were on my kindle. Later I found that is not as much of a concern as each story holds it's own very well and any references to previous books give enough information to keep you informed). Enjoy!

Light read

I have enjoyed this series so far. The "who did it" was somewhat of a surprise in this edition. I've already bought book 6.

Awesome

I read this entire series and found the books all riveting. Once started it was awful hard to put it down. Highly recommend the series!!
