Traveling in dreams, psychic smelling, visions of past lives, talking to plants: do these ideas excite you or fill you with dread? In this episode, we chat with Mimi Young, shamanic practitioner and modern day medicine woman, about what it means to identify as a witch, and how we can cultivate a deeper relationship with the natural world.
Mimi Young is a shamanic practitioner and founder of Ceremonie, an esoteric brand focusing on in-person and online shamanic education, Remote Shamanic Readings, and plant medicines for skin and aura. Mimi works with a blend of modalities including core shamanism, plant spirit medicine, chao magick, and Chinese esoterics, with a focus on integrating the subconscious with the conscious, past lives work, divination, dream work, ancestral connection, and consciousness expansion. She is also a neurofeedback practitioner (@openmindsperformance), where she supports others in accessing their peak via neurological resilience. It's this intersection of ancient and frontier that she finds most fascinating and effective for reaching full human potential.
Mimi became a shamanic practitioner “by accident” while on bedrest for 5 months during her second child’s pregnancy. Having an alinear background in design, education, and clean tech, she sees her background as a way to relate, to be curious together, and to live our most aligned selves.
