About Lainie:

Lainie began her spiritual and wellness journey in 2018 when she reached her breaking point with her mental and physical health. After working with multiple coaches, trainings and healing modalities, her life still felt exhausting. It was at this time she realized she had jumped from one hamster wheel to a new bedazzled one. She realized she was looking to others for the answers and holding on to old stories and labels that no longer served her.

She realized that the ultimate healing and power exists within ourselves. That we are the ultimate authority in our lives and we gets to choose the narrative. The labels don't mean anything. She believes  we evolve into our highest self when we own our story, our past, our unique energy and emotions and allow them to direct our healing vs hold us back. Magic happens we honor our human and divine nature together, we create unshakeable safety and trust in this body to allow our soul to speak. 

As an empowerment and embodiment coach, reiki master and Soulflow Facilitator, Lainie has guided tons of women in creating their dream through coming home to themselves and finding their power within by connecting mind, body and soul.

Ex Pastor Marc Henri joins us to Deconstruct Christianity!

About Marc-Henri:

Born in 1963, I studied Protestant theology at the University of Geneva to become a pastor. I worked in this profession as a life mission for fifteen years in an evangelical church. A deep questioning led me to resign: I realized the sectarianism and the blockages at the heart of my faith and the personal and generational sufferings that hid behind them.

I gradually faced my shadows, and I started therapeutic work. I went through ten years of doubts, uncertainties, personal upheavals, professional reconversion, divorce. It was a dark and challenging period, but very rich and of great value to me.

Then I discovered meditation and yoga thanks to Evelise, the exceptional woman who is now my wife. I trained in Mindfulness meditation at the University of Geneva, then in Yoga Nidra and meditation, then as a Rasa Yoga teacher. I taught meditation and Yoga Nidra for several years in Geneva while working full time as a counselor. 

The amputation of my left leg due to bone cancer in May 2018 left me with the need to find a new balance for my life. The first thing to do was to learn to walk and live with one leg. Second, I had to build meaning for this tragedy. In this process, I discovered a more profound and renewed spirituality, fully taking into account what was happening to me without embellishing it or falling into a kind of magical thinking. A spirituality that could help me to face reality. It is still a work in progress.

Having faced such trauma and such a threat, I saw it become the portal to a more enlightened and awakened phase of my existence. In this process, I discovered and treated toxic residues buried in my body and my soul through my religious education and my family heritage. This whole experience has resulted in a healing process and what I call spiritual decontamination, resulting in renewed health and joy.

From this process was born a book: 'Toxic Jesus, my journey from holy shit to spiritual healing’ and an online course ‘Heal Your Spiritual Life.’
