Due to a myriad of reasons we had to take a bit of hiatus but we are back witches! We have also taken feedback into consideration and we are re-working our podcast. In this episode we have a little interview with each other so that you can get to know us a little bit better as witches and some of our practices. You may notice that this episode is long and we are definitely going to be putting out more episodes that are a bit longer than we previously did.

December 14, 2020 A History of Yule and The Winter Solstice
Hello and welcome back to The Witch's Gathering!
In this episode we discuss the history of Yule and many of the traditions celebrated during the Christmas/Yule/Winter Solstice time! We explain where these traditions came from and how it is celebrated in the United States today.

First, we would like to apologize for the long delay of a new episode, Sybella unfortunately became very ill shortly after our previous episode and was completely unable to speak for a long period of time. You may also hear that she is a bit more nasally and stuffy in this episode for this reason as well.

We had to remove a lot of this discussion due to time. Some of what was removed was other solstice celebrations (such as Yalda Night) and much of how we personally celebrate this time of year.

In this episode we share our opinions and thoughts about Witch-Tok (the witchcraft community on TikTok) and the Witch Aesthetic. We do apologize as this is our 2nd time recording this due to audio loss, then Sybella became ill and lost her voice completely. We share our views and experiences, what we've seen and how it's effected us. Do we recommend Witch-Tok? What about the Witch Aesthetic?
