It’s Aries season and my birthday month! And what better way to celebrate then to record a podcast episode with two of my besties and fellow Aries?!
This episode is not our regular Witchy Mamas episode. There were margaritas, there was laughter cackling, there was adult mad libs and cum pops! So buckle up, tune in, and make sure little ears aren’t present.
But things take a turn and we get a little political; and for our birthdays, we ask all of you to stand up for what is right. To step outside of your comfort zone, at least a little bit, and call people out on their racism and bigotry, and just down right asshole-ness (it’s a word!).
So come celebrate Aries season with us and have a good time, it’s a PARTY!
And be sure to check out my Instagram feed for more pics from this episode…we had a BLAST! And a HUGE shout out to Austin (who makes a cameo in this episode!) Austin is the genius who edits Witchy Mamas and works damn hard to make me sound AMAZING!

Ostara is a Neo-Pagan Sabbat the celebrates the start of spring, or the Spring Equinox, which falls on March 20th this year.
Ostara gets its name from the Goddess Eostre, the Goddess of Spring and Fertility. Her name also sounds a lot like Easter which typically falls within a few weeks of Ostara.
During the winter solstice the sun is reborn, while during Ostara the earth is reborn.
In today’s episode we talk about…Simple Ways to Celebrate Ostara — Checking in on Priorities, Goals, and Relationships — Ashley Otero and The Profections Project. You can learn more about Ashley at Cosmic Soup Bowl. — An original poem, An Awakening.

I’d love to hear from you! How are you celebrating Ostara this year?
Today I sit down with Reiki Master and Intuitive Healer, Jette Roberts from Grounded and Blooming. You may remember Jette from the previous episode back in October, Reiki—Whole Person Healing.
One of the first homework assignments Jette gave me during a Reiki session was on forgiveness. Inspired by the Hawaiian practice of forgiveness, Jette has adapted the practice of Ho-oponopono. I asked her to share with us her experience with the practice.
Forgiveness is something we all need to constantly do, holding on to anger and resentment creates pain with us.
When I started working on forgiving others from my past, the one thing I didn’t anticipate was the need to forgive myself. Once I realized I needed to forgive myself, I instantly felt a burden lift.
If you want to try this practice of forgiveness and healing for yourself, for each person (including yourself!) write…
Did you try the exercise? I’d love to hear about your experience.
